Yes—Crave is available as a paid Prime Video Channel in Canada. Bell launched the Premium ad-free plan on February 29, 2024, and added Standard With Ads on October 1, 2025. A Prime membership does not appear to include Crave automatically: you purchase the Crave subscription separately through your Canadian Prime Video account.
What “Crave on Prime Video” actually means
Prime Video has two different kinds of programming:
- Included Prime Video catalogue: titles available under your regular Prime membership.
- Prime Video Channels: third-party subscriptions that you add for a separate recurring fee.
Crave belongs to the second category. Bell announced the Canadian agreement on February 6, 2024, then launched Crave Premium, ad-free, through Prime Video Channels on February 29. Amazon confirmed the Canadian availability on March 6, 2024. The service is therefore watched in the Prime Video environment, but it is not a no-cost part of Prime.
The official announcements describe this offer for Canada. A U.S. Prime account should not be assumed to include the Canadian Crave channel. Your Amazon marketplace, account country, billing address, device and eligibility can affect what you see.

Which Crave plans are offered through Prime Video?
The launch releases establish two Prime Video offerings, but historical announcement prices should not be treated as a guaranteed October 2026 price list. Open the Canadian checkout before paying and record the amount, taxes, advertising status, renewal terms and any promotion shown for your account.

What can you watch?
Bell and Amazon describe Crave as carrying HBO and Max Originals, Crave Originals, Hollywood and blockbuster movies, DC titles, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and library series such as Friends and The Office. The service also includes English- and French-language programming.
Promotional announcements have cited more than 11,000 hours of French content, while Bell used a more than 15,000-hour figure in a July 2025 bundle announcement. Those dated marketing figures are not a permanent catalogue guarantee. Licensing windows, plan rules and distribution timing can change, so check a title in the Canadian Prime Video listing before subscribing for it.

How to subscribe through Prime Video
- Sign in to a Canadian Prime Video account.
- Open the official Crave destination: primevideo.com/crave.
- Select the Crave plan or bundle shown for your account.
- Before confirming, review the monthly price, taxes, advertising, supported devices, renewal wording and cancellation terms.
- Confirm with the payment method on your Amazon account.
- Open Prime Video and look for the Crave subscription and its available programmes.
Amazon’s interface can differ between the web, mobile, smart-TV and Fire TV apps. Do not rely on a fixed menu label such as “Channels” if your version presents the offer differently; the URL above is the verified starting point.
Prime Video billing versus a direct Crave subscription
| Question | Prime Video Channel | Direct Crave subscription |
|---|---|---|
| Where you sign up | Prime Video Crave page | Crave’s subscription page |
| Billing relationship | Purchased through the Amazon account; confirm the displayed renewal and cancellation wording | Managed by Crave or, where applicable, a participating television provider |
| Viewing environment | Prime Video ecosystem | Crave’s own apps and supported provider platforms |
| Promotions and plans | Use the offer shown in Prime Video checkout | Compare the offer shown on Crave’s current subscription page |
| Feature parity | Not established for every app, profile, download, stream, resolution or parental-control feature | Rules depend on the current Crave plan and platform |
Prime Video is usually the simpler choice if you already use Amazon devices and want one interface and one Amazon billing relationship. Direct Crave is worth comparing if you want Crave’s native account ecosystem, an annual or promotional offer, or features that may not be available through a third-party channel.
Bell lists direct Crave access through Crave.ca, iOS and Android, connected TVs, game consoles and participating television providers. Device support and app versions change, so check the current support information for the equipment you use.

Crave bundles with TSN or RDS
On July 25, 2025, Bell announced Prime Video bundles combining Crave with either TSN or RDS and said they offered savings compared with separate subscriptions. The announcement did not provide a complete current price table, so compare the live bundle price with the two standalone services before subscribing.
- Crave + TSN: aimed at households wanting Crave entertainment and English-language live sports.
- Crave + RDS: aimed at viewers who specifically want RDS and French-language sports coverage alongside Crave.
If you rarely watch live sports, a bundle can add cost without adding value. Confirm whether the bundle is billed and cancelled through Prime Video and whether its current terms suit your account.

“I have Prime, so why is Crave locked?”
Prime membership and a Crave Channel subscription are separate products. Select and pay for Crave in the Prime Video offer before expecting its programmes to play.

“I already pay Crave directly.”
Do not assume the subscription transfers or links automatically. Check whether Amazon offers account linking, identify which provider would bill you, and avoid confirming a second subscription until you know how the existing one will be handled.
“The price is different from an article.”
C$21.99 for Premium and C$11.99 for Standard With Ads are dated official announcement prices, not a verified October 2026 price list. Taxes, promotions, plan names and annual options can change. Use the amount displayed in the Canadian checkout and note the date you checked it.
“A programme is on Crave but missing in Prime Video.”
Possible causes include licensing windows, plan restrictions, delayed channel availability, a listing problem or the title being supplied through another premium add-on. Catalogue parity and release timing should not be assumed without checking the specific title.
“Can I watch it in the Prime Video app?”
Prime Video Channel access is the intended viewing route described by Amazon and Bell. Confirm supported devices and feature availability for your app and hardware before subscribing.
“Is Crave available on every device?”
No blanket guarantee applies. Bell has listed platforms including Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, selected LG and Samsung televisions, PlayStation, Roku and Xbox One, but support and app versions can change.
Quick Recap
Which option is best for you?
- Choose Prime Video billing if you are in Canada, already use Prime Video, prefer a single viewing interface and the live Amazon price is competitive.
- Choose direct Crave if its current promotion or annual offer is better, you want the standalone Crave app, or you already manage Crave directly.
- Consider Crave + TSN or RDS if your household will use substantial live sports and the current bundle discount beats buying the services separately.
- Skip the Prime Video route if you live outside Canada, expected Crave to be included with Prime, are subscribing for only one title, or need a feature unavailable in Amazon’s channel version.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
