Who is Eddie Cibrian?
Eddie Cibrian is an American actor best known for television roles and for his marriage to country singer LeAnn Rimes. The couple have been married since 2011.
How did LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian meet?
Rimes and Cibrian met on the set of the made-for-TV movie Northern Lights in 2009. At the time, both were married to other people: Cibrian was married to model Brandi Glanville, while Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet.
When did they get married?
They exchanged vows on April 22, 2011, at a private home in California. CBS News reported that roughly 40 guests attended and that some had been told they were coming to an engagement party. Cibrian’s sons were also reported to be present.

Why was their relationship controversial?
The relationship drew intense public criticism because it began while their previous marriages were ending. Rimes later told ABC News, “I know I didn’t do it the right way.” Cibrian described the situation as a human mistake from which they learned.
Does Eddie Cibrian have children?
Yes. Cibrian has two sons, Mason and Jake, from his marriage to Brandi Glanville. They became part of Rimes and Cibrian’s blended family after the couple married.

The family’s life now
In an E! News interview published February 26, 2026, Rimes said their life had become “very calm” after 15 years of marriage. She said she and Cibrian had helped raise Mason and Jake, who were 22 and 18 at the time of the interview.
