Is Disney+ v1.11.3+ a real current release?
The exact label “v1.11.3+” is not supported by the current indexed Disney+ Android release pages reviewed. Standard Android listings now use version numbers such as 26.12.1+rc1-2026.07.15 and 26.11.1+rc4-2026.07.03. The 26.12.1 listing identifies the package as com.disney.disneyplus, with version code 178407745.
“+rc” is a release-candidate-style label used in the archive metadata. It does not mean a premium, unlocked or subscription-free edition. A page calling v1.11.3+ “latest” may be stale, misleading or referring to another Disney+ device variant. Check the version, package name and target device before downloading.
The official way to install or update Disney+
- Open Google Play Store.
- Search for Disney+.
- Confirm that Disney is the publisher and that the package/listing is the official Disney+ app.
- Tap Install or Update.
- Open the app and sign in with an active Disney+ account.
Use Disney’s Android mobile-device guidance for compatibility information. Availability, content and behavior can vary by country, account, device certification and Android version. Installing an app does not create a subscription or bypass regional licensing.

Android requirements and current APK details
Disney says Disney+ supports Android phones and tablets running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later. The indexed 26.12.1 standard listing reports Android 6.0/API 23 as the minimum and Android 16/API 36 as the target. It lists arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86 and x86_64 architectures.
Android 6.0 is only a baseline. Widevine DRM, certification, processor architecture, screen density, Google Play Services, location and rooted or modified software can determine whether installation and playback work.

These figures describe the archive listing, not a permanent promise that it remains the newest release. The Disney+ release archive should be checked for later builds.

What “all languages” actually means
App interface languages
One 26.11.0 build reports 25 interface languages: Arabic, German, English, Spanish, Estonian, Finnish, French, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Chinese. Another variant reports 24, so the count can differ by build, split selection or device configuration. See the language metadata for that build.

Interface translations are not the same as audio or subtitle tracks. Each film or series can have different language options.
Regional catalogs
A translated interface does not provide every country’s catalog. Account and billing region, licensing rights and local Disney+ availability control what you can watch.

Choose the correct installation route

APK archives list separate standard Android and Amazon variants. A phone build can sometimes install on a TV box yet provide poor layout, missing integrations or unsupported playback. For uncertified projectors and boxes, a certified streaming stick or TV platform may be a better solution than forcing an APK.
Why the current download may be an APK bundle
A single .apk is usually one installable package. The indexed 26.12.1 file is an APK bundle containing a base APK and 37 device-specific splits. Bundles may use .apkm or similar archive formats and require APKMirror Installer or another compatible bundle installer.
- Download the complete bundle, not an isolated split.
- Install only with a reputable bundle installer.
- Installing just the base APK can fail when required architecture, language or density files are missing.
- Do not confuse a bundle with a modified or “unlocked” app.
Cautious sideloading procedure
- Check the device: record Android version, device family, architecture, storage, certification and whether Google Play Services are present.
- Try Google Play first: if the official listing installs normally, sideloading adds unnecessary risk and maintenance.
- Select a legitimate file: use a reputable archive page for the Disney-published package. Confirm
com.disney.disneyplus, version, release date, minimum Android version and architecture. - Reject modified offers: avoid “mod,” “premium unlocked,” “no ads,” “free subscription” and pirated builds.
- Install the format you downloaded: use Android’s package installer for a complete APK, or a compatible bundle installer for an APKM/split bundle.
- Allow installation temporarily: grant “Install unknown apps” only to the chosen source when Android requests it, then revoke that permission.
- Test the result: sign in and test playback, subtitles, audio selection, casting and downloads where your plan and device support them.
- Restore normal updates: use Play Store updates again where possible.
APKMirror states that its listed Disney+ bundles are signed by Disney and require APKMirror Installer or APKMirror for installation. That statement applies to the identified archive listing; it is not a guarantee for every mirror, redirect or installer.

Authenticity and safety checks
- Publisher should be Disney.
- Package should be
com.disney.disneyplus. - An update should normally retain the installed app’s trusted signing identity.
- Compare SHA-256 values when the release page publishes them; use the specific release page, not a hash copied from another version.
- Reject executable installers, unrelated ZIP contents and pages promising free subscriptions.
- Unexpected accessibility, SMS, contacts, device-admin or overlay permissions are warning signs.
Troubleshooting installation and playback
“App not installed”
Common causes include a wrong architecture or device variant, conflicting signature, insufficient storage, incomplete split bundle, Android below the minimum or enterprise restrictions. Confirm the variant, redownload the complete bundle and clear temporary installer data. Do not uninstall a working app unless you have confirmed account access; offline downloads may be removed. Do not install an older build over a newer one.
“App isn’t compatible with your device”
The device may be uncertified, below Android 6.0, using an unsupported CPU, filtered by region or receiving the wrong TV, phone or Fire variant. Use the official Play Store listing and Disney’s compatibility guidance. Forcing installation cannot create DRM support.
The app opens but video will not play
DRM or certification failure, rooted software, display-output restrictions, VPN or regional issues can block playback. Update through Google Play, restart, disable VPN or proxy temporarily, check date and time, clear cache and test on certified hardware.

The app repeatedly requests an update
The sideloaded build may be below Disney’s service minimum, be for the wrong platform or not be recognized as a production release. Return to the official Play Store version or install the correct platform build. Do not use a patched APK to bypass the prompt.
What the update changes
Indexed Disney+ release pages generally describe bug fixes and broad improvements rather than a detailed public changelog. Version numbers and build dates are therefore more useful than vague “latest update” claims. Disney can also change service behavior server-side without changing the APK.
