A download page calling itself “official” is not enough to establish authenticity. Before treating any Windows installer as legitimate, you would need to verify all of the following:

- Whether the APK is free from malware or unwanted tracking;

That protection is useful, but it is not a substitute for obtaining software from a trustworthy publisher. A scan can miss a new or altered threat, and a clean result at one point does not establish that an APK is legitimate, properly licensed, or respectful of your privacy. 1. Stop using the suspicious application
Close it and disconnect the computer from the internet if you suspect active malicious behavior, such as unexpected pop-ups, unknown processes, browser redirects, or unusual account activity. Disconnecting can limit communication with a remote server while you assess the system.
2. Uninstall the unknown software

4. Check browser extensions and startup programs
