Availability in the U.K., Canada, Australia, and other markets should not be assumed from the U.S. listing. Local licensing arrangements may put the film on a different service or make it available only as a digital rental or purchase.

Want to own the film?
Superman received physical editions on September 23, 2025, including 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD. For viewers who want the highest-resolution home version and the permanence of a disc, the Superman (2025) 4K UHD Blu-ray is the most suitable edition to look for. Blu-ray and DVD are alternatives for people who do not have a 4K player or want a potentially less expensive physical copy.

Why the earlier “likely timeline” is now outdated
Before the studio confirmed the date, coverage could reasonably describe the Max release as a prediction based on the theatrical-to-digital window and Warner Bros.’ release patterns. That is no longer the correct headline. The subscription date was announced and has passed.

Which Superman movie is this?
This is the 2025 DC Studios feature written and directed by James Gunn. It stars David Corenswet as Superman and Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
