In the U.S., the clearest way to watch The Housemaid with a subscription is STARZ. The 2025 Paul Feig thriller had its announced exclusive STARZ streaming debut on April 1, 2026. Prime Video may also offer it through a STARZ add-on, while digital rental, purchase, and physical-media editions are alternatives for viewers who do not want a STARZ subscription.
In the U.S., the clearest subscription option for The Housemaid is STARZ. STARZ announced the film’s exclusive streaming debut for April 1, 2026, and its current title page identifies the 2025 movie as an R-rated, 2-hour-11-minute thriller. You can look for it on the official STARZ movie page or through STARZ’s supported streaming and on-demand platforms.
Prime Video may also display The Housemaid through a STARZ add-on or trial. That is STARZ access through Prime Video—not proof that the movie is included with an ordinary Prime membership. If you would rather not subscribe, transactional rental and purchase listings, plus 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions, provide alternatives.

How to watch it on STARZ
- Open the STARZ listing for The Housemaid.
- Check that the listing is available in your country and on your preferred device or STARZ-supported platform.
- Sign in to an eligible STARZ subscription, or review the available subscription options.
- Search for the 2025 film starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, rather than relying only on the title search.
STARZ’s announcement described the film as arriving on the STARZ app and on STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms. The exact subscription package, trial terms, device support, and availability can vary, so the live STARZ page is the final check before subscribing. If you use a third-party channel, confirm that it is an actual STARZ add-on and not merely a page offering a rental or purchase.

Can you watch The Housemaid on Prime Video?
Yes, Prime Video can be one route—but the access path matters. A Prime Video page may offer the film through a STARZ add-on or trial. In that case, you are receiving STARZ programming through Prime Video. The movie should not be described as “free on Prime Video” or included with the base Prime membership unless the live listing specifically says that it is included.
Prime Video has also documented a separate rent-or-buy option. An Amazon guide published February 5, 2026 listed a $19.99 rental and a $24.99 purchase. Those figures are a dated snapshot, not a guaranteed current price. Rental and purchase prices, HD/UHD availability, and viewing terms should be checked on the live Prime Video storefront at the time you watch.
For the cited rental terms, Amazon said viewers had 30 days to begin the rental and 48 hours to finish it after starting playback. Retailer rules can change, so read the current terms shown at checkout.
Rent or buy it digitally
If you only want to watch the film once, a digital rental may be more economical than starting a subscription. If you expect to revisit it, a digital purchase or physical edition may make more sense. Lionsgate places The Housemaid in its “Rent or Buy Now” area, although that page does not establish one universal retailer, territory, or price. Use the Lionsgate movie catalog as an official starting point, then verify the live retailer listing.

4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release
The U.S. physical-media release date was March 17, 2026. The release was reported as including 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions. An Amazon-exclusive 4K UHD/Blu-ray/digital combo-pack was also described in the Lionsgate home-entertainment announcement reproduced by Home Theater Forum. Target has also listed a Lionsgate Blu-ray with the same March 17 street date.
For a physical copy, search for The Housemaid Blu-ray. If you specifically want the highest-resolution disc edition, search for The Housemaid 4K UHD and confirm that the listing includes the discs and digital code, if that matters to you. Package contents, retailer exclusives, stock, and prices can differ.
Physical media is particularly useful if you do not want to track changing streaming rights, need offline access, or want to keep the film after a subscription ends. A standard Blu-ray or DVD may be the better-value choice if you do not have a 4K television and compatible player.
