The carousel included several photos of the couple, including pictures outside an auto-repair shop, a bathroom selfie, and images near a yellow convertible. Ethan did not initially identify the woman or explain how they had met.
The woman was later identified as Teegan Nichols. Reporting about the couple said they met through Instagram after Teegan commented on a photo of Ethan’s motorcycle. She subsequently appeared on Welcome to Plathville, making the relationship part of the show’s broader storyline.

Repeatedly promising to relocate without doing so can create frustration and undermine trust, even when there is no evidence of malicious intent.
Teegan’s reported dealbreakers
In reporting about the filmed Season 8 reunion, Teegan said she and Ethan were not dating. She identified two major obstacles: Ethan had not established a life nearby, and he was still married at the time of the filmed conversation.
Teegan also indicated that promises would not be enough. She said she would judge Ethan by whether his actions changed, rather than by what he said he intended to do.

The real red flag is the gap between promises and actions
