Who is Nina Drama?
Nina Drama is the professional and social-media persona of Nina-Marie Daniele. She built her public profile through comedy, modeling and digital media before becoming especially recognizable in the UFC and wider MMA space.
Her content is deliberately informal. Rather than presenting herself as a traditional beat reporter, Daniele uses jokes, provocative questions, sketches and relaxed conversations to show fighters outside the strictly competitive setting. Her stated aim is to highlight the human side of combat-sports athletes through comedy and satire.
#1 Best Overall
That distinction matters. Nina Drama can accurately be described as a UFC-associated content creator, interviewer or media personality. The available evidence does not establish that she holds a formal UFC employment title.
How old is Nina Drama?
Nina Drama is 37 years old as of August 12, 2026, according to widely published biographical records that give her birth date as December 27, 1988. She is scheduled to turn 38 on December 27, 2026.
The date should be treated as widely reported rather than definitively verified through a formal birth-date statement on her official social profiles. For that reason, it is more accurate to write that she is “widely reported to have been born” on December 27, 1988 than to describe the date as a confirmed official disclosure.

| Age on August 12, 2026 | 37 |

What is Nina Drama’s nationality?
Nina Drama is consistently described as American. Several biographical profiles place her upbringing in Pelham, New York, and describe her as New York-raised before her later work in modeling and online media.
Her public social-media biography has also used a United States flag, supporting the description of her as American or U.S.-based. That is not, however, the same as a formal public citizenship record.
Some secondary biographies mention French and Italian ancestry. Those details are not sufficiently supported by a primary source in the available research and should not be presented as established fact.
Is Nina Drama married?
Nina Drama has not been reliably confirmed as married. Secondary reporting has described her as being in a long-term relationship with Jhanelle Castillo, and some online discussions refer to Castillo as her husband. The available evidence does not establish that they are legally married, so calling him her husband without qualification would be misleading.
Other reports say the relationship began around 2010, but that timeline also comes from secondary reporting rather than a clearly documented official announcement.

A more recent statement attributed to Daniele clarified that her boyfriend was not, and had never been, her videographer. She identified longtime collaborator Christopher in connection with filming. This is important because online profiles have sometimes blurred the distinction between Daniele’s romantic partner and the person working behind the camera.
The most responsible summary is therefore: Nina Drama is publicly described as being in a long-term relationship, often reported as being with Jhanelle Castillo, but neither a current relationship confirmation nor a marriage has been established reliably in the available material.
Relationship rumors involving UFC fighters
Nina Drama’s interviews often use flirtatious humor, teasing and deliberately provocative exchanges. Those performances have led to online speculation about her relationships with fighters, but the content itself is not evidence of a private romance.
Reports concerning fighters such as Arman Tsarukyan have characterized the interactions as professional or comedic, and available reporting includes explicit denials of romantic involvement. UFC interview segments should not be treated as proof of a personal relationship.

What did Nina Drama do before UFC content?
Before becoming widely known for fighter interviews, Daniele worked as a model. Her most directly supported Playboy credit is an appearance as the April 2017 Playmate of the Month. Playboy’s March/April 2017 issue identifies her in that role.
Some secondary sources also describe her as Playboy’s 2018 Playmate of the Year. The April 2017 monthly Playmate credit is the better-supported detail in the available source material, while the later title should be treated as a secondary-source claim unless independently confirmed through a primary Playboy record.
Her career subsequently moved toward comedy and social-media publishing, allowing her to combine modeling visibility with an increasingly recognizable on-camera personality.
When did Nina Drama start making MMA content?
Her YouTube channel was established in May 2020. The channel’s stated format includes humorous interviews, sketches, vlogs and other entertainment built around combat-sports personalities.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesHer approach differs from conventional sports journalism in several ways:
- Comedy first: interviews are structured around jokes and unusual prompts rather than only fight analysis.
- Personality-focused: the goal is often to show how fighters behave away from competition.
- Informal presentation: the tone is conversational and intentionally unpolished compared with a standard broadcast interview.
- Cross-platform publishing: clips and related material appear across video and social networks.
Her public work has included interviews and sketches involving UFC figures such as Sean Strickland, Merab Dvalishvili, Alex Pereira and Arman Tsarukyan, among others.
Is Nina Drama a UFC employee?
There is no basis in the available research for calling Nina Drama a UFC employee. She is more accurately described as a UFC content creator or interviewer who works in the UFC and MMA media ecosystem.
A 2026 statement attributed to Daniele described her work as promoting fighters, filming skits and showcasing their personalities. That supports the content-creator description, but it does not establish a formal staff position with the UFC.
This distinction is useful because “UFC interviewer” can describe what someone does on camera without necessarily indicating employment by the organization.

Nina Drama’s social-media following
Daniele has a substantial audience across several platforms. A manually checked account profile recorded approximately 7.6 million combined followers in September 2024, including roughly:
- 2.4 million Instagram followers;
- 1.1 million YouTube subscribers;
- 3.9 million TikTok followers; and
- 205,600 followers on X.
A third-party YouTube analytics page later reported approximately 1.89 million YouTube subscribers and 1.85 billion views in June 2026.
These numbers are snapshots, not permanent biographical facts. They come from different dates and sources, so they should not be added together and presented as a current exact total. Her audience can change daily, and first-party platform counters are the appropriate source for up-to-date figures.

Nina Drama and the Aviator brand
In September 2025, gaming company SPRIBE announced Nina Drama as an Aviator brand ambassador and described her as a UFC content creator.
This is a documented commercial partnership. It should be described as a brand-ambassador arrangement, not as evidence that Daniele owns, operates or created the Aviator product.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is Nina Drama’s real contribution to MMA media?
Daniele’s importance in the MMA media landscape comes from making fighters accessible to viewers who may not seek out traditional post-fight analysis. Her interviews package personality, humor and recognizable athletes into short-form and long-form social content.
Best Value
That format can complement, rather than replace, conventional reporting. A standard journalist may focus on tactics, rankings, injuries or upcoming bouts; Nina Drama’s work more often focuses on the athlete’s character, reactions and offbeat interactions. The result is entertainment-driven sports media designed for highly shareable digital platforms.
It also explains why her interviews can be misread. The exaggerated tone is part of the format. A suggestive joke or playful exchange should not automatically be interpreted as a factual disclosure about the people involved.
