Rent or buy: which is cheaper?
The rental is the lowest one-time cost. The purchase costs about $8 more than one rental, but the arithmetic changes if you plan to watch the film several times:
- One rental: $6.99
- Two rentals: $13.98
- Three rentals: $20.97
- One purchase: $14.99
That means renting is the sensible choice for one viewing, while buying becomes cheaper than repeated rentals from the third viewing onward. A purchase can also make sense for viewers who want the title available for future rewatching, subject to Amazon’s digital-content terms and continued account access.

Is The Age of Disclosure free with Prime?
Not according to the latest evidence used for this guide. The current U.S. listing supports a rental and a digital-purchase option, but it does not support describing the documentary as free with an Amazon Prime subscription. Prime Video is the storefront and viewing platform here; that does not automatically mean the title is included in the Prime catalog.
Amazon sometimes changes individual title rights, prices, and subscription availability. If the listing shows a Prime-included or “Included with Prime” label when you check, that would supersede this earlier status. Otherwise, expect to rent or buy it separately.

No free U.S. streaming option was found in the latest availability check. The U.S. availability listing identified Amazon Video for rental and purchase and did not list a free provider. Availability aggregators are useful for checking again later, but they can lag behind platform changes; verify the destination service before signing in or paying.

Be cautious with pages promising a free copy of the film. Search results can include unofficial streaming and torrent pages that imitate legitimate movie guides. They are not evidence of authorized distribution, may expose viewers to scams or malware, and should not be treated as legal viewing options. There is currently no verified need to use a VPN or other geo-unblocking service for the confirmed U.S. route—and bypassing territorial restrictions may violate a platform’s terms or licensing arrangements.
What is the documentary about?
The film presents what it describes as an approximately 80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life. Its promotional synopsis also alleges a secret international effort to recover and reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin. It says the documentary includes 34 insiders from the U.S. government, military, and intelligence communities.
Those statements describe the film’s premise and promotional framing. They should not be read as independent confirmation that a cover-up, non-human craft, or extraterrestrial technology exists. The documentary focuses on testimony and claims concerning UFOs—now commonly discussed in official settings as unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP—rather than presenting a universally accepted scientific finding.

How credible is The Age of Disclosure?
The film’s strongest newsworthy feature is the background of many of its interviewees. Former or current officials, military personnel, intelligence-community participants, and legislators may have relevant experience and their allegations may merit investigation. But a witness’s rank, office, or professional reputation is not the same as independently inspectable physical evidence.
That distinction is central to evaluating the documentary. NASA says it has not found credible evidence of extraterrestrial life and that there is no evidence UAP are extraterrestrial. NASA’s independent UAP study likewise reported no conclusive evidence in the peer-reviewed scientific literature that UAP have an extraterrestrial origin.
The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AARO, has also reported that it found no verifiable evidence that UAP sightings represented extraterrestrial activity. Its historical-record review described a lack of empirical evidence for claims that the U.S. government or private companies were reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology.

For that reason, the most accurate description is a high-profile UFO/UAP documentary built around testimony from government and military insiders. It is not accurate to present the film itself as proof of alien visitation or a government cover-up. Reviews have reflected that divide: skeptical coverage has criticized the reliance on testimony, familiar footage, and assertions without a publicly testable “smoking gun,” while audience and critic responses have differed sharply. At the time checked, Rotten Tomatoes listed a 27% critics’ score and a 91% audience score.
Who should watch it?
- Watch it if you want an overview of the current disclosure movement, enjoy documentaries centered on insider testimony, or want to assess the film’s argument for yourself.
- Approach it cautiously if you are looking for peer-reviewed scientific confirmation, publicly inspectable artifacts, or a definitive explanation of every UAP case.
- Do not use it alone as evidence that extraterrestrial technology or a decades-long government cover-up has been established.
For a single curious viewing, the $6.99 rental is the clearest value. Purchase it for $14.99 only if you expect at least three viewings or specifically want ongoing digital access.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I watch The Age of Disclosure free with Amazon Prime?
The latest U.S. listing used for this guide does not show the documentary as included with an Amazon Prime membership. It lists a $6.99 rental and a $14.99 digital purchase. Check the current Prime Video page before paying because subscription rights can change.
What is the cheapest way to watch The Age of Disclosure?
For one viewing in the United States, the listed $6.99 Amazon Video rental is the cheapest verified option. A $14.99 purchase is cheaper than paying for three separate rentals.
Does The Age of Disclosure prove aliens exist?
No. The film presents allegations about non-human intelligence, government secrecy, and reverse-engineering programs. NASA and the Pentagon’s AARO have said they have not found conclusive or verifiable evidence that UAP are extraterrestrial. The documentary should therefore be treated as a presentation of testimony and claims, not independent scientific confirmation.
Is The Age of Disclosure available on Netflix or another free service?
No free U.S. provider was identified in the latest availability check. The verified route was Amazon Video rental or purchase through Prime Video. Catalogs change, so check a current availability listing and the platform’s own title page before assuming that status is permanent.
Is there a DVD or Blu-ray of The Age of Disclosure?
No authoritative physical-media release was verified in the research used for this guide. A third-party listing alone would not establish that an authorized DVD or Blu-ray edition exists.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: U.S. viewers can currently watch The Age of Disclosure through Amazon Video on Prime Video for a listed $6.99 rental or $14.99 purchase. Rent it for one viewing; buy it if you expect three or more. Watch it as a provocative, testimony-driven entry in the UFO/UAP disclosure debate—not as conclusive proof of extraterrestrial visitation or a government cover-up.
