For viewers in the United States, HBO Max is the simplest single subscription for watching all nine official Conjuring Universe movies. The collection includes The Conjuring, the three Annabelle films, the two Nun films, and the three mainline Warren movies through The Conjuring: Last Rites. Individual films can also be rented or purchased through major digital retailers, while The Curse of La Llorona is best treated as a separate, Conjuring-adjacent bonus.
U.S. availability checked August 11, 2026. The underlying streaming listings were checked between July 24 and July 29, 2026. Catalogs and retailer listings can change without notice, so verify the title page before subscribing, renting, or starting a marathon.
Quick answer: where can you watch the Conjuring movies?
Warner Bros. Discovery has identified HBO Max as the U.S. streaming home of the complete official Conjuring Universe. Individual listings also show the films through HBO Max, the HBO Max Amazon Channel, YouTube TV, and—depending on the title—Cinemax-related channels. The Conjuring: Last Rites is additionally listed on Amazon Prime Video with Ads.
If you want to watch the entire official series, HBO Max is the most efficient option. If you only want one film, renting or buying through Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, or Fandango At Home may be more practical than taking out another subscription. Subscription access, channel access, rental prices, and purchase prices are separate and can vary by account, package, resolution, and promotion.

The guide below covers the nine-film official collection and then explains where the disputed-but-frequently-discussed The Curse of La Llorona fits.
Every official Conjuring movie: current U.S. streaming options
| Film | Year | Subscription or free option listed | Rent, buy, or other option |

How to read the table: HBO Max means subscription streaming. “HBO Max Amazon Channel” is a channel-based access route through Amazon, not necessarily the same billing arrangement as a direct HBO Max subscription. Cinemax and YouTube TV listings may depend on the package or channel access attached to your account. None of these listings should be interpreted as a permanent guarantee of availability.
Best option for a complete marathon
For the official nine-film run, stream the complete Conjuring Universe on HBO Max rather than assembling separate rentals. Warner Bros. Discovery said the full collection was available on HBO Max in the United States after Last Rites arrived there on November 21, 2025. Check the current HBO Max catalog before subscribing, because streaming rights can move.
Want to own the series instead?
Warner Bros. also markets a physical The Conjuring Universe 9-Film Collection. A Blu-ray or DVD collection is the more dependable choice for viewers who want permanent access to the official nine films, but inventory, edition, seller, disc format, and delivery availability can change. Last Rites is also listed separately on DVD and Blu-ray.
For a single-film purchase, digital retailers are usually the simpler alternative. For example, viewers who do not need the full subscription can rent The Conjuring online through a retailer such as Amazon Video, or check the relevant title page at Apple TV Store or Fandango At Home. Do not rely on a quoted rental or purchase price from an older guide; prices change frequently.
The best watch order for the Conjuring Universe
Release order: the best default for first-time viewers
Release order is the clearest option for a first viewing. It preserves the way the franchise introduced its mythology, recurring objects, demons, and connections rather than asking viewers to jump backward and forward through the timeline.

- The Conjuring (2013)
- Annabelle (2014)
- The Conjuring 2 (2016)
- Annabelle: Creation (2017)
- The Nun (2018)
- Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
- The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
- The Nun II (2023)
- The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025)
Watch The Curse of La Llorona separately as an optional adjacent film rather than quietly inserting it into the official nine-film sequence.
Approximate chronological order
For viewers who prefer an in-universe timeline, this is the commonly used approximate order:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- The Nun
- The Nun II
- Annabelle: Creation
- Annabelle
- The Conjuring
- Annabelle Comes Home
- The Curse of La Llorona — adjacent detour
- The Conjuring 2
- The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
- The Conjuring: Last Rites
This order is approximate, not an official studio-mandated timeline. Some entries contain dates, flashbacks, or connective details that make exact placement less important than the broad sequence. Because La Llorona is not officially counted in the nine-film collection, label it as an adjacent detour rather than treating the chronology as definitive.

Where does The Curse of La Llorona fit?
The Curse of La Llorona (2019) is frequently included in fan-made Conjuring watch orders because of connective elements and its association with producer Peter Safran and director Michael Chaves. However, Chaves and Safran have said that it is not an official entry in the Conjuring Universe. Warner Bros. has still marketed the film alongside the broader franchise, which explains why many lists include it.
For that reason, the most accurate description is Conjuring-adjacent: watch it if you want the wider context, but do not count it as the tenth official film. It is not part of the official nine-film HBO Max collection described above.

Important U.S. availability notes
- This guide is for the United States. Streaming rights differ by country and may not match the services listed here.
- Subscription streaming, channel access, digital rental, digital purchase, free-with-ads viewing, DVD, and Blu-ray ownership are different options. A film appearing in a service search does not necessarily mean it is included in every plan.
- HBO Max Amazon Channel and Cinemax listings may require separate channel subscriptions or packages through the relevant platform.
- YouTube TV listings can indicate a title is available through a live-TV or channel-based package; check the title page and your plan rather than assuming it is included at no extra cost.
- Streaming catalogs are dynamic. Recheck every title immediately before publication or viewing, and refresh this guide regularly if it remains a high-traffic page.
- Do not treat old price screenshots or price quotes as current. Digital prices vary by retailer, resolution, promotions, and account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Curse of La Llorona officially part of the Conjuring Universe?

A commonly used chronological order begins with The Nun and The Nun II, but that timeline is approximate.
Can I watch all nine official Conjuring movies with one subscription?

The Bottom Line
Bottom line: U.S. viewers who want the complete official Conjuring marathon should start with HBO Max. Rent or buy individual films through Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, or Fandango At Home when a second subscription is not worthwhile, and treat The Curse of La Llorona as an optional adjacent title rather than part of the official nine-film collection.
