What is electricity? Simply put, electricity is the presence and flow of electric charge. It is a set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and motion of matter that has a property of electric charge.

In the early days, electricity was considered as being unrelated to magnetism. Nowadays, that has changed. Using electricity, we can transfer energy in ways that allow us to accomplish common chores.

In some cases, the word electricity is used to describe electrical energy.
