This documentary was initially released in 2007. Fast forward a couple of years ago, and now marijuana is legal in a couple of countries in the United States, and in Canada.

The documentary explores the growth, sale, and trafficking of cannabis, and the underground market. Featuring interviews with growers, police officers, criminologists, economists, doctors, politicians, and even pop culture icons, the documentary reveals how the trade is booming despite being a criminal enterprise.

Showing the history of cannabis, filmmaker Brett Harvey examines the profitable marijuana trade between British Columbia and the United States.
