The human body is made of between 55% and 60% water. That is the adult body. Children have higher water percentage.

About 71% of the Earth’s surface is water-covered. Oceans hold about 96% of all Earth’s water. Water also exists in the air as water vapor, but also in lakes, rivers, glaciers, in the ground as soil moisture, and everywhere around us.

They say that the human body can withstand without food for a week or two, but no more than 48 hours without water.

Simply put, water is one of the most important things in our life. Transparent, and nearly colorless chemical substance, water is essential to our well-being.

With that in mind, do we know all of the properties of water? This documentary explores that.
