This Friday, we celebrated world cannabis day. April 20 is a World Cannabis Day every year. The date is written 4/20 in the US calendar, and those digits have become synonymous with cannabis culture.

Nowadays, cannabis is legalized in several countries, and in nine states in the US for recreational use. Cannabis is legal in some countries for people aged 21 and over.

April 20 is half a day of celebration, and half a call to action. Activists are working on decriminalization constantly, and April 20 is a day for that.

And while nowadays we are far away in the legalization of cannabis, it wasn’t always like that. This documentary focuses on the documentary on marijuana/cannabis, and how we got to the point of legalization.
