From 2007 to 2010, a nationwide financial crisis was happening in the United States of America. This contributed to the US recession of December 2007 to June 2009.

Housing prices peaked in early 2006, and stated to decline in 2006 and 2007. They reached new lows in 2012. On December 30, 2008, the Case-Shiller home price index reported its largest price drop in its history.

This documentary takes a look at everything that occurred after that. Ten years after the housing crisis, people now have to change their plans for financial future. They need to redefine their ideas of the American dream.

This documentary features experts from the housing industry, explaining how people can prepare if another crisis unfolds.
