This documentary shows the journey of the cargo ship OOCL Atlanta from Hong Kong to Singapore and explores how the 1000 ft long and 134,000 ton heavy vessel is maintained by a minimal crew!

This megaship’s voyage takes it through the risky Singapore and Malacca Straits into the vast South China Seas and beyond. Captain Roger Llewellyn guides it through pirate infested waters and into the busiest ports in the world.

The documentary helps us discover the mechanics and machinations of life at sea, from the height of the bridge, to the depths of the engine room, to the state of the art computerized navigation system to deliver precious cargo worth millions of dollars, cleverly loaded in over 8000 containers, to their eager owners, undamaged and on time.
