Marc Dutroux: The Monster of Belgium

Marc Dutroux (born November 6, 1956 in Brussels) is one of the sickest human beings born.

Belgium is a criminal, convicted of in 1995 and 1996, kidnapped, tortured and sexually abused six girls, aged between 8 to 19, four died as a result.

He was also convicted of murdering an alleged accomplice before, Bernard Weinstein.

He was arrested in 1996 and has been in prison ever since. His widely publicized trial took place in 2004. A number of shortcomings in the Dutroux investigation caused widespread discontent in Belgium with the criminal justice system in the country and the scandal was one of the reasons for the reorganization of the agencies of law enforcement in Belgium.
