Shaolin Kung Fu is among the oldest institutionalized styles of Chinese martial arts. The technique was developed and originated in the Buddhist Shaolin temple in Henan province, China.

Shaolin Kung Fu has more than 1500 years of tradition and development. With its rich content, Shaolin King Fu became one of the largest schools of Kung Fu. The name is used as a brand for the external styles of Kung Fu.

Anyone can become a Shaolin Monk. They teach foreigners as well. You can become Sifu of your own school while being a disciple of a monk. The Shaolin Temple in Henan routinely accepts foreigners for training.

The training is quite different. Monks do not train for strength or stamina only. They also train for their martial arts. They do not squat with 100kg weights. They train for four hours a day, five days a week.
