Greenland is quite popular at the moment. There were rumors that American President Donald Trump suggested America bought the island from Denmark. But that was denied, and the Danish immediately said Greenland is not for sale.

What is Greenland? It is a massive island and autonomous Danish territory between the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans. Much of the surface is covered in ice, making it the largest ice territory in the world.

Citizens of Greenland live along the ice-free and fjord-lined coast. Greenland is also home to several research facilities.

This documentary explains the history of Greenland, and more about the island.
