When you look at the title, you might think it is a documentary about birds, nature, and environment. But that is not the case.

The documentary follows the struggle of West Papua New Guinea, and its road to independence. For 45 years, the people have suffered in silence, and they slowly started raising their voice. The people fought against Indonesian colonial rule for many years.

In 2017, the country finally handed its independence petition to the UN. The petition was endorsed by 70% of the population of West Papua.

This documentary focuses on the Free Papua Movement, a movement established during 1965 in West Papua as a way to bring independence to the country.
