El Chapo is one of the most famous Mexican drug dealers. This week, the trial against the “Kingpin” begins in America.

Before he was captured in 2015, he managed to escape US authorities for many years. Born as Joaquin Guzman, he was the drug lord who served as the head of the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico.

The criminal organization was named after the Mexican Pacific coast state of Sinaloa where it was formed. Sinaloa cartel is widely known as one of the biggest criminal drug organizations in the world.

And now, El Chapo faces what is the biggest US drug trial in the history. With that in mind, here is a rare GoPro footage of the mission to capture him.
