Psilocybin mushrooms, or also known as a psychedelic mushrooms are mushrooms that contain psilocin. A naturally occurring psychedelic compound, psilocybin can be found in more than 200 species of mushrooms.

In the world of rave music and parties, psilocybin mushrooms are also known as magic mushrooms. They contain psychedelic compounds, making them extremely popular among young people that want to experience parties like never before.

But while the compound has a bad reputation, and rightfully so, there have been studies that show there is some good in there as well.

In the past 20 years, there is a resurgence of the scientific inquiry into the potential benefits of psilocybin. Many experts in the health care industry believe the mushrooms and the compound can be used for therapeutic benefits. This documentary explores that potential.
