Dian Fossey was an American primatologist and conservationist known for undertaking an extensive study of mountain gorilla groups from 1966 until her 1985 murder. She studied them daily in the mountain forests of Rwanda, initially encouraged to work there by paleoanthropologist Louis Leakey.
Everyone who knew her was shocked by her brutal murder. But not many were surprised. Over the years, she has made many enemies and long feared for her life.
This documentary investigates the conspiracy theory that gorilla researcher Wayne Maguire killed her. He fled the country before being sentenced to death and has lived with the consequences ever since.
So, did he really killed her? And if not him, then who?
