Spiders are air-breathing arthropods that have eight legs, chelicerae with fangs generally able to inject venom, and spinnerets that extrude silk. They are the largest order of arachnids and rank seventh in total species diversity among all orders of organisms.
Fun fact: females can lay up to 3,000 eggs at one time. And some of the jumping spider species can jump 50 times their own length.
Speaking about their diet, one species is even vegetarian. Spiders are definitely amazing. And this documentary takes into the awesome world of spiders.
