Human Resources

Oct 13, 2022 | Social, Videos

It is a documentary about social control, the test of history, philosophy, and ultimately, the pathology of the power elite.

In general, human resources is rough around the edges, but still overloaded with gems. Take some time to digest this – and take notes. Scott Noble does an admirable job of setting ten hours of material in two. It gives room for all the people you interview … there are a ton of ideas here and let almost all of them are developed and breathe at their own pace.

The footage itself is very low-fi and some of the interviews feel like they drag on for too long, or walking in circles. Surprisingly, these moments are few and far between.

Noble can not cover everything, but the scope of this film just makes the most ambitious entry in this genre so far stranger, more complete than The Century of the Self and less hysterical than the franchise Zeitgeist.
