We have sent robots to Mars. The most notable one was named Spirit and touched down on January 3rd 2004. The robot was only suppose to last for a few months. However Spirit trekked on for much longer then expected. This expedition has given us new facts about our terrestrial neighbor, information that will surly shape future space expeditions.
Thankfully, weaklings with this attitude will go extinct, while those of us who believe as all life is equally entitled that the needs of our species come before all others will go ahead and do whatever we want and thanks to our efforts, periodically our culture will spit out pacifist whiners like you who do nothing to help advance humanity except complain about the methods of those who do.

If Microbes, lower life forrms have been discovered there then the probability of higer life forms with intelligence and a civiilization couldl be there.
