The voice is such a versatile and diverse instrument, unique to every individual. In this documentary, Rebecca Ferguson, Julian Ovenden, and Erwin Schrott explore the power of the human voice, and what it takes to be a great singer.

There are many aspects of singing, from physiology and acoustics, to the singing voice of the artist, to career-building. There are 4 main voice types, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. And there are many different singing techniques and styles.

And being a good singer doesn’t make you expert in all techniques. For example, a great Opera singer might not be a good rock singer, and vice versa. But generally speaking, there are a couple of factors that make a person a great singer.
