There have been so many popular sociopaths and psychopaths in history. Both in real life, and in fiction. For example, one of the most popular sociopath in fiction is Sherlock Holmes.

But that aside, nowadays, sociopath and psychopath are used in the same way. There is a vast difference between these two terms. Mostly, in severity and frequency of expressing the symptoms and traits of a sociopath.

This video takes analyses how they are different in terms of body language. Observing a person may help you determine whether he/she is a sociopath or a psychopath.

And to do so, you need to know the signs to look out for. For example, sociopaths always try to maintain an eye contact. They have no empathy, and are unable to express emotions. With that in mind, take a look at all of the visible and subtle traits of a sociopath and a psychopath.
