Mexico's Drug War BBC Documentary

When it comes to drugs, Mexico is a country frequently associated with. Mexico and Colombia are the two countries that have gave birth to several drug cartels.

And while Pablo Escobar, the most famous drug kingpin is from Colombia, Mexico has its fair shares of drug cartels. The Mexican government constantly tries to put an end to the drug business and trafficking in the country.

But it is not an easy task. The documentary, Mexican Drug War explains exactly what happens during that drug war.

The war, which officially started in December 2006, has been responsible for a number of victims. And according to several statistics, the number of women being murdered has risen sharply over the last decade.
