The Battle of Long Tan

In August of 1966, in South Vietnam, 106 young Australian soldiers were surrounded by 2500 Viet Cong and North Vietnamese soldiers, fighting for their lives. This documentary, narrated by Sam Worthington, The Battle of Long Tan is a tribute to the men of the D Company, 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment who stood their ground and came out victorious in a battle that helped defeat the Viet Cong.
