The film highlights the apparent lack of security of $ 1.2 billion and calls into question what kinds of policies are applied to direct the police on issues such as property protection and crowd control.
What is clear is that the police had a deliberate and flagrant disregard of citizens’ civil rights, their behavior toward the demonstrators and detainees were brutally violent and ruthless.
With the violation of civil liberties and the lack of transparency in decision making several calls a public inquiry have been made by community groups and watchdog organizations.
See the testimony of several interviewed protesters, who were arrested and imprisoned for more than 20 hours in a makeshift “detention center” called Torontanimo infamous. Amnesty International stated that the conditions people went there as a human rights violation.
The history of the G-20 in Toronto begins with this film, but the consequences and implications of this bleak and disturbing events, the stories shared by victims is still in question.

@Gehenna71 Actually, that is not true. The right to silence is protected under section 7 and section 11(c) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This includes the right to choose not to identify yourself if questioned by a police officer.Even the Ontario’s Public Works Protection Act only provides the requirement to present ID if the person wishes to enter the security zone.

I got the link for the video of this page from the home page of torontog20exposed.blogspot . com, which is why I deleted my prior post to change it to ask if the video of 2h14m and the video of this page are different documentaries on the same topic. The blog has “torontoG20Exposed” for name, so I figured it was referring to the same video as the 2h14m one.
I wonder if this is really the full documentary, for it’s 2h08m, while TheSecretStore posted a copy that’s 2h14m and the title for it here is, “(Full Movie) Toronto G20 EXPOSED – Original Full-Length Documentary”.watch?v=EZxkAn-g4XoOr, since the titles don’t both say “Toronto G20 Exposed”, are these two different videos? If they are different, then how many long videos like these were made about the G20 summit in Toronto in 2010?

@canucksfaninthehouse It is not here. You must show your identity by law. Security personel has no right to ask your id but police and customs have. We have no right to refuse or we get arrested and get a ticket for being in a public place without id. Seems very correct. How else can they arrest criminals if no id has to be shown?
