In this series of four programs, pioneer Michio Kaku String theory continues an extraordinary exploration of the world in search of time.

Discover the meaning of the passage of time and clocks that are our bodies. He reveals the forces of time that make and destroy us in a lifetime.

Travel to some of the most spectacular places on Earth geological clues about the extraordinary depth of time on a planetary level. Finally, takes us on a cosmic journey in search of the first (and final) time.
During the day. Time seems to lead every time. It’s the most inescapable force we feel. But do not experience time from within our minds and bodies, or from outside?

Lifetime. The most powerful time in our lives is the way it limits us. Our knowledge of death is so ingrained in our lives and spirituality that, if immortality is possible, we lose the sense that makes us human?

Earthtime. We have a unique knowledge of time, realize that extends deep into the past and continue in the future. How does this affect our sense of who we are?

Cosmictime. We have always structured our lives based on an unchanging past and a future predictable and orderly. But the atomic and cosmic discoveries have changed all that. What time is it? And it’s going to end?

That seems to be true. However, the systematic oppression of the masses and consequently the rampant emphasis placed upon business for the survival of you and me, I think, distorts the biological human-clock.Concerning time itself, my opinion is that, time is a partially-deterministic sequence of transformations, or, possibly, the conceptual means to breakdown the apparently eternal motion of reality fundamental to understanding itself. Considering how our clocks and calenders and our measurem

…[measurem]ents of time correspond to the movements of celestial bodies, one may suppose time is the rhythm of a greater reality than merely an earth-like reality.

  10. I think every living animal have their own biological clock to understand the time. Every animal knows the exact time for their mating. How is that? I can wake up any time during the night without the help of a alarm clock. How is that? But my assumption about of time is there is no such a thing as time. It is an illusion & is not existing.

Anonymous 1:44:Yes, healthy cciohes I agree with–just not mandating them or making it a “moral choice” that somehow eating better means that one is “better” in some way. One of the problems I have with schools is that some of them will not allow “fast food” of any kind—not even Subway but offer the crummy school lunch which is swimming in oil etc. so cciohes are good. But I would definitely prefer my child eat Subway than the school lunch. Maybe it would be good to advocate for healthier cciohes for school lunches since kids have no choice but to be at school and let those parents and their kids who wish to eat at McDonalds by choice make the decision to do so.

Okay, but how would we know if they plan for the future or not? I mean it is not like the fish have to make appointments with the dentist or the doctor… It is nothing more than an assumption, claiming that fish do not think about time.

  16. jackrazalas says:

No. Why do you know the guy? Have you been to the new York community school system? He’s slick on tv sure. Dont believe anything you watch, especially sensationalists that have a relationship with media. But its a moot point.

  18. jackrazalas says:

Agh.. this guy michio kaku again.. what a sensationalist and fraud. Rejected from several universities, can’t get a tenured position, only a community college teacher with a flair for delivery and luckily knows showbiz people coz he’s a gay figure skater. His connections enabled him to do these docs.

  19. settazteca says:

Do these fish show up every day at the beach? every month or year?, he didn’t say anything about that, I assume every day as this episode is titled “daytime”, it would be remarkable if they showed up every year, that would be precision.

  20. Anhkiet says:

As a cute married woman mslyef, I think this girl has a very seductive, unique look to her. I personally think, acting skills aside (until we see) that she may override Ms. Fox (wait.. Mrs. Green)in all her glory. This girl is fresh, healthy looking and has the [natural] bee-sting lips that many-a-man looks for. Kudos to her and Michael Bay (boom pew- blah) that will keep people coming to the Transformers franchise!
