A documentary that explores how humanity came to understand the universe and its origins in the Big Bang.
Since the first people who looked at the sky and wondered about the nature of modern physicists like Einstein, Gamow, Alpher and Guth.

The universe began with a massive expansion, billions of years ago and continues to grow with each passing second.
The idea that the very existence of the universe and of man, began with a “Big Bang” is no longer a topic of debate among most scientists – which is essentially taken as fact.

Notes on The Universe: Beyond The Big Bang documentary:

    - The big bang is a theory of cosmic evolution
    - The universe started as a singularity
    - The bigbang is a misonoma, there was no ‘bang’ as there was no air to carry the sound, and it was not big as it started off as a singularity in space, the term ‘big bang’ however stuck

    - 6 billion of those stars have a planatary solar system
    - there are around 125 billion galaxies that make up the ‘visible’ universe
