But do you think that you cannot comment on American foreign policy unless you've served in it's army? But I despise the army and all it stands for. What now for me Sarge? Should I just dig a hole, climb into it and stay there? America has intervened in the internal affairs of every vulnerable country on the planet to exploit it for profit or to secure American strategic interests. You got a taste for it during the first world war. You can't throw a dart at the map without landing on a country you've molested in some way - either through your own terrorist organization (the CIA) or the WTO and the IMF. Your military spending since WW2 equates to $23m a day since the birth of Christ. You, Sarge, are quite within your rights to ask if that's money well spent! Anyway...like I said...I don't want to debate this subject. I've done it before with actual flesh and blood yanks who simply don't have the facts at their finger tips. It's a waste of time. The fact that you served in the military (voluntarily I assume) makes you unsuitable to discuss this topic. Americans seems to feel this way about difficult issues...ones that require UNDERSTANDING..the kind you get from books and discussions with, y'know, Somalians...all problems are essentially resolvable with force...that's the extent of nearly 400 years of rumination on your continent. All problems essentially military therefore there must be a military solution to all foreign policy problems. That's why you lost in Vietnam, Iraq, are losing in Afghanistan, will lose in Iran and North Korea. I know you think it makes you a patriot to come on here and defend the indefensible, or to highlight your time in the same army that raped its way through South East Asia, but to me it makes you a traitor to the principles of democracy (for white men at least) that your country was founded on. Does the true American patriot just say 'Yes, sir' and defend his country EVEN WHEN IT IS WRONG? There were a lot of 'patriots' like that in Nazi Germany. The biggest problem, which was spelled out in the documentary, was the “Clintoon” White house. In the beginning Bush Sr sent in the Marines and the Army, to prevent food shipments from being stolen by the clans. That mission was turned over to the UN. when the Pakistani’s were killed, the UN cried and whined until Clinton sent in the rangers and Delta to get Ahdid. the rest as they say is history and covered in the documentary.
