The Shape of the Future
The shape of the future is a documentary series produced by Common Ground Productions, which explores what an eventual Palestinian-Israeli peace could be similar.
Even-handedly examines the aspirations of both Israelis and Palestinians and demonstrates the possibility of a lasting peace, mutually satisfying.
Originally broadcast in Hebrew and Arabic in the Israeli and Palestinian television, the way of the future is now enjoying wide international distribution.
An aphorism often heard is that Palestinians and Israelis see the light at the end of the tunnel – you just can not find the tunnel.
As violence has increased in recent years, a growing number of people on both sides are convinced that negotiated solutions can not be achieved.
The shape of the future shows that, though not inevitable, peace is possible. By probing the views and concerns of the Palestinians and the Israelis with regard to key issues such as Jerusalem, settlements, Palestinian refugees and security, the series will identify exactly what is at stake.
It then displays a negotiated peace agreement does not have to trample the interests of both sides.

Perhaps it wasn’t as clear. The problem is Zionism and the continued expansion into surrounding areas. No it wasn’t clear. In my street there is a Jewish family that have lived in the same house for 7 generations going back to 1876 which they built themselves. 15mins drive from me is an Arab Muslim town (therefore Palestinians) where business is thriving and my Muslim friend (Palestinian) is very successful. In 1948 there was an opportunity for a 2 state solution – why was it rejected? There is good argument for a Jewish homeland as well as another – the OTHER Arab nations rejected it.
When I initially said “I can’t wait for the day the WORD ‘Israel’ is wiped off the map” I thought it was clear that I would like to see a peaceful resolution to the heinous crimes of the Zionists. I would not like to see the Israeli people harmed, as I feel they are also victims of this filthy ideology. It’s not their fault they were born in a land stolen by their fathers. Rarely do changes come about w/out violence & I feel if there is a price to pay, then so be it.
There’s a lot you are not aware of as you clearly admit. There is also no point in asking you to remove your blinkers as you have made up your mind to hate regardless of facts. Also, as pointed out in your earlier posts, you wish to condone mass violence whereas I do not. So debating anything with you is a waste of anyone’s time. I’m not aware of any human rights abuses in Dubai, but I’m sure there are… Because abuses exist in all countries to a certain degree. Why say Dubai? Saudi Arabia (or Israel) is possibly the worst in the ME for human rights and a major source of fundamentalism.The fact that you must point to other country’s dirty laundry whenever anyone criticises Israel shows you have no real excuse for her crimes. There is no Palestinian Land. Where is Palestenian land? In ARABIA. Jordan, Iraq, Syria and so on. There hase neve been a counrty called Palestine. No terrorists, no checkpoint its easy as that. Muslims occupie half of the globe, and its not enough? They want more land from tiny Israel.
my grandfather and grandmother was thrown out violently from libya because they were jewish and they come to israel and got country from the UN and so did the palestines but they refused this solution opened war with 6 more countries and all lost to israel.. now they want to go back and israel agree but hamas still dont recognize that israel exist and have the right to be there as home of the jewish people… its all stupid people see the diffrence cause every one is human
