The harpy eagle is the most powerful bird of prey in the world, tearing the monkeys from the branches of the forest canopy.

Rare and elusive, rarely seen, but with the discovery of a nest of harpies in the remote jungles of the Orinoco in Venezuela, wildlife film-maker Fergus Beeley has a unique opportunity to follow a girl’s life from birth to adulthood.

Fergus stands high in the canopy to reveal a stunning world of color and sound, following the trials of newborn girl harpy eagle as he grows up.

Fergus becomes a member of the community’s dazzling birds and animals around the nest and develops a bond harpy unexpectedly quits with the chicken.
