Evan Davis presents a program exploring the effects of immigration in the UK by focusing on Wisbech, a town in Cambridgeshire.
Since 2004 this once prosperous market town has received up to 9,000 immigrants seeking work – the majority from Eastern Europe. But with nearly 2,000 locals unemployed and claiming benefits, many of them blame the foreign workers for their predicament.
To test if the town needs so many foreign workers, immigrant employees are temporarily removed from their jobs, and the work given to the local unemployed. Now the town’s British workers have a chance to prove they can do it.

I’m probably much older than most of you, I more than likely have a hell of a lot more life experience and have access to factual data. This is why I can have the opinion that I have. To all you students and youngsters out there, get an education, get trained up and then try and get the hell out of this country. Labour have wrecked it and it will only get worse, a lot worse. The Middle Class that keeps a country up is being wiped out, jobs are going to foreigners, there is no future here.

In turn, people now have become so well off on benefits, excluding single guys, that in order to get the same money, you’re talking 25k + in many instances. This is completely down to Labour’s irresponsible benefit programe of handing out money instead of getting people trained up and on top of that opening the door to immigration to gain votes and to lessen the overhead for big businesses, which is why they are against limiting immigration. This country is finished, every working Brit knows it.

The video is very narrow perspective, I know for a fact that many hire eastern europeans based on cost. The Olympic site was built by Eastern Europeans, while our own workers who went for jobs there were turned away. Much like the NHS, I know nurses who are now working in New Zealand and Canada because they could not get a job in this country. I agree its down to culture, that has been pushed by the Labour government and created a benefit in to a right for some people….

Yeah there is a big difference. When Brits go abroad they work in the country where they reside, they are not known for getting involved in pushing the rate of crime through the roof, they are not known for getting as much benefits as they can out of that country, they are not known for being a burden. Take it from someone who has worked for ten years in a job that has access to this info, limited immigration is good, mass uncontrolled immigration is massively destructive.
