Boys Dance of Afghanistan exposes the horrific practice known as Bacha Bazi, in which young men are sold to Afghan warlords and powerful businessmen to be trained as dancers performing to male audiences in women’s clothing and then used and sold for s**. The practice is sadly making a comeback in the country.

While the West pours billions of dollars in the fight against the Taliban in southern Afghanistan, an ancient tradition (banned when the Taliban were in power) has re-emerged in the rest of the country. Many hundreds of young people living in extreme poverty are lured off the streets with the promise of a new life away from misery, he knows that his true destiny is to be used for entertainment by the warlords and other powerful men in Afghanistan.

Having gained access noticeable within a ring of sexual exploitation, Najibullah Quraishi awarded Afghan journalist investigating this illegal practice, the consequences of which are surrounded by a focus on the war. The film exposes the lack of support from authorities and explore possible responses to the plight of children in this conflict zone.
