Terry Pratchett: Choosing To Die
In a sincere, personal documentary, Sir Terry Pratchett, the author considers how you can choose to end his life.

Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2008, Terry wants to know if he might be able to end his life before his illness takes over.
Traveling to the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland, Terry witnessed first hand the procedures established for an assisted death, and faces to the point where that would take the lethal drug.
Sir Terry Pratchett has made an emotional plea the right to take his own life, saying: I live in hope that you can jump before I pushed
Unfortunately, however, I also found the self-deception: in cafes, restaurants and streets, the vast majority of people I talked to wanted desperately to believe that it was too late and that, surely, the South will never leave the union. It will.

@2004EAR not when you know what you have will kill you
f*** this s***. so many dickheads in the worlds s******* everything and HE must get this disease. f***
@2004EAR Not as scary as involuntary death.
Suicide is rage-quitting. Assisted suicide is looking at your cards and folding before you bring the whole table down with you.
Terry does ask a question that get you thinking, how am I gonna die? Well we never know how we’re gonna die. I could die next year, next week or h***, someone could break into my house and shoot me in the head as soon as I’m done with this comment. I live life to my fullest, I spend as much time with my friends, family, and girlfriend as much as possible. How I hope to die is between the age of 90-100, where I already lived a full life and I’m ready for that, but I don’t know if that will happen
@2004EAR Nowhere near as scary as thinking of unassisted death.
I am crying right now.
40:41 #1 is my favourite song
i would fall asleep listening to stairway to heaven.
Assisted death…. A scary thing to think of.
“It’s the right kind of snow.”
I was trying to hold back tears the whole time. Great documentary, definitely necessary.
very interesting, informative, and most definitely something that sparks controversy. although many wont agree for one reason or another, like its been said many times in this documentary, it is truly one’s own opinion/decision to make. we must remember that judging others for their actions is just as though you did them yourself. everyone has their own reasoning for the actions/reactions we make in our lives, and we will live/die accordingly.
Made me cry
How sad ;—;
@falljosh almost a definition of her love to him, at its most vulnerable state. It was hard to watch
@WindsRox : But that’s very untrue, what you’re saying.
…In his final moments…she was warm and quite beautiful…but it was sad nonetheless…
@qwasdninja then get a job,and stop sitting in your mom house and playing WOW 24/7ugly swedish kid
Hard to watch. Worth it in the end though. And to those who are against assisted dying, in my own opinion death is one of the most personal things there is, other that being born. So why should you not have the choice of how or when to go, if you don’t have any quality of life. Don’t you understand why people put animals down?! It’s cruel to keep them alive.
@qwasdninja Religion is what the common people see as true,the wise see as false, and the rulers see as useful.
