Technocalyps is the brainchild of Frank Theys, a Belgian visual artist and filmmaker, wherein he explores the intriguing prospect of trans-humans being the next in the series of evolution after human beings.

The three part documentary includes interviews by top experts and thinkers on the subject worldwide and focuses on this core issue of exceeding human limitations as the latest findings in genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, bionics and nanotechnology appear in the media every day, but with no analysis of their all surpassing aim. Inquiry is conducted into the scientific, ethical and metaphysical dimensions of technological development.

  1. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
