Social status in a capitalistic society is a major factor in how people live their lives. This social status greatly revolves around a person’s financial status. This film examines how the quest to move up the social ladder has brought untold depression and anxieties about ones self.

  1. How is everyone. My neighbor had pretty drastic results dealing with their bad anxiety disorder after going to KickAnxietyByFriday (it is probably a dot com). Now living a new outlook on a happy life. Sure you will see for yourself.

your snobbish attitude towards people who have a snobbish attitude is quite primitive.

  3. johnuio says:

true enough – but this is a very well researched documentary, so it must be saying something true about the USA. not everything true is motivating.

  4. gregvance says:

The human race is full of this superficial ‘status snobbery’ rubbish. Sadly it’s the sign of a very primitive thinking, unevolved race. It’s so stupid and childish I can’t help but laugh at it. It just goes to show that most ‘adults’ in our ‘civillised’ society are nothing more than petty little 5 year olds in adult bodies. And people look up to filth like bankers lawyers and salesmen that make millions spending their life exploiting everyone else etc, just cause’ ‘they’re rich’? WHAT a joke!

  5. I don’ t think this is very motivating. This documentary in particular.

*Check out my channel and watch my Freestyle Rap on How to Cure Anxiety*Panic attacks, loss of appetite, the feeling of living life outside your body, the feeling of living in a dream, continuous negative thoughts, troubling and obsessive thoughts, excessive stress and worry, trouble sleeping. You are not alone. There are many others who have these experiences. I USE TO, but NO longer have them. I am NOT SELLING anything, I just want to share the process that freed me of anxiety. Stay Positive!

  18. patrick maina says:

America has lost it in believing that materialism will enhance their level of happiness , yet this is an admission of living on a very primal level where they believe the extrinsic world will govern their appreciation of life. does this not explain the high abuse of recreational drugs and warped interest in self. medieval Europe maybe poorer then modern America but its the cradle of all development from religion, law, arts and sciences, that the mighty America cannot rival with the dollar. even ancient west Africa was very affluent with huge deposits of gold during the reign on mansa musa but where does it stand for today? affluence without contribution to the perpetuation of life and human dignity is moral anarchy.
