‘Should I Smoke Dope?’ is an investigative and revealing documentary by journalist Nicky Taylor, that looks into the effect cannabis have on the daily life.
In her month long experiment she discovers firsthand how the drug affects the daily life of the people. Back in the UK, Nicky finds out about the genetically modified cannabis called “skunk,” which is cheap and increasingly sold on the streets.
The breakthrough results were found to be quite unsettling. Although it’s illegal, over 15 million people have tried cannabis and there is a growing debate about whether cannabis should be reclassified as a class B drug.
This film attempts to explore answers for disturbing questions such as whether marijuana can make one crazy, is it worse than alcohol or is it stronger than it used to be originally.
