A look at the life and times of Kurt Cobain and possibly the greatest grunge band of all time, Nirvana. This documentary goes through the recording of the” Nevermind” album.
Shame about this documentary, there are so many fantastic and more accurate depictions of Kurt Cobain’s life. This documentary would probably have upset Kurt and in my opinion stands for everything he was against which ultimately led to his suicide (or murder).

I thought it was good. I loved the start and always wanted to know how they recorded. Chris looks sooo like a businessman.

Sorry Dave, Niamh is right. Between hammering in the Kurt Cobain-Beatles connection, and winding off with a paean to MTV’s sales bonanza–this documentary while informative misses the point. . .

Great movie, especially if you are are trying to record/produce your own music. When the tracks are played individually you can really hear what is going on in the mixes.

I loved hearing the isolated track that became the Nevermind songs. Very educational for an amateur musician.
This was a great video and I don’t think it was ever supposed to be about Kurt’s life but about the album itself. I thought they did a great job and it was very interesting and inspiring. It is part of a series called Classic Albums, which Nevermind undoubtedly is one of, this was never meant to be a biography on the band or any of its members.
