Killing Us Softly 3: Advertising’s Image of Women
Advertisement is all around us. It tries to convince us to buy a product based on a spokesperson or other mechanisms. But we sometimes fail to see how much of an effect this has on our society as a whole. This documentary examines the effects of having women portryaed as freakishly skinny, large hipped, big breasted idiots.

Think you could write a better description for this documentary?
Fancy earning a few bucks in the process?
If the answer is YES! then we could be in business! Read on for more information...
How does it work?
We understand there are more knowledgeable and passionate people out there watching our documentaries, we also know many of our documentary descriptions could be, well, more descriptive! So, we're calling for your help and want you to join our team!
OK, so how exactly does it work?
Simple... you submit your documentary description/review to us, if we like it and host it in this designated section, we'll split our revenue (generated from advertisements on this page) with you, 50/50, straight down the middle! Paid monthly via PayPal, with no minimum payout!
How much can I earn?
Well it does vary, some of our more popular documentaries earn upwards of $4/day (at the moment...) and are increasing daily. The more traffic we get to our site (or the page where your description is located) the more you can earn! If your work is selected to show on our site, why not promote it? Send traffic to your documentary page and you'll earn more!
How Can I Be Sure I get Paid What I Earn?
We send out proof of your earnings through a Google Adsense Report on pay day! We're not in the market to rip off our visitors. If you're happy, we're happy. And, if you ever want to know how much your earnings are during a month, simply email us and we'll let you know!
The not so SMALL print...
There are obviously some small clauses (as with everything in today's world!). All we ask of you is that all content submitted is unique, in good taste, none-offensive, well written and over 300 words (the more the better!). The higher quality your work, the more likely we are to put it on our site, and the more likely it is to stay there earning you money every day!
So What Are You Waiting For? Send us your documentary review now and we'll let you know if we're happy for it to go up!

@lumberjack
This is an immensely influential documentary series. She has certainly not ‘failed in life’.
this doc sounds like the making of a person that has failed in life. complaining about shit and blaming the other sex doesnt help, life sucks and then you die. this bullshit (harsh language) doesnt amount to any thing.
They have all of them.
Great doc. I am really interested in viewing Killing Us Softly (1979) and Still Killing Us Softly (1987?). Does anyone know if these are available online or elsewhere?
Arian,
WTF? I totally agree with Conspiracy2Riot! Those adds don’t come from a womans mind, not to forget that ONLY men own the biggest company’s, which all these adds where made for.
arian,
ONLY a moronic, patriarchal lovin’ jerk would make a statement like that. I’ve no doubt you are of the ilk that would rape a woman and say her cries of ‘NO’ were in no way to be taken seriously.
what women want? even they dont know what they want!!!
all those ideas from the adverts come from women’s mind!!!
This presentation deconstructing these ads and the messages behind them was fantastic. Amusing, Shocking and Intelligent, I found myself riveted and surprised by how little attention I truly have paid to the subliminal messages being broadcast from every corner of our country. I’ll never view another advertisement in the same way.
Bare minimum, I think every parent should view this.
