This liberal 2006 documentary explores the corruption of major contractors in the Iraq war, such as Blackwater and K.B.R. both of which have had significant controversy following this film. This films cutting edge critique begs the question of what the U.S. is fighting for and what are the ethics of profiting off misery.

  1. I’m not justifying any actions that were obviously wrong. I’m just saying that the families need to realize that all of us that go over understand the fact that we may die doing the job we are sent to do. weather its kicking in doors going after insurgents that kill both us and their own people. Or a person that is doing admin work at a desk.

  2. forestpump says:

i think the point is why are they there at all, they were supposed to be helping these people rebuild their country yet they are beating them up and playing with their penises :~ seems obvious that the Iraqis clearly dont want them there and that it was likely due to the pressure put upon politicians by these corporations that drove them to attack Iraq and not about saving the world from the new Hitler who had stock piles of dangerous weapons & planning to destroy the world

  3. Those of us that go over know the CONSEQUENCES! We KNOW what we are signing up for. All jobs weather military nor civilian can guaranteeing anyone’s safety. You don’t go to a war zone thinking nothing is or could never happen to you. When you sign those contracts, both military and civilian, you sign waivers to your safety. No one can protect you all the time. These people complaining obviously never were in the military which is why they are now recruiting ONLY former service members.

  4. MoosBros says:

Killing for a living is never a good way to make a living…THAT is why mercenary soldiers have a stigma that questions their moral character…because they sold out to evil…they have no moral character. They don’t kill to defend freedom and democracy, their country, or even any particular moral ideology….They kill for money..Period…

  5. going to be a Marine soon… this is what we signed up for. they dont question their paychecks do they! Thats how this JOB just is…

  6. MegaMainhoon says:

bush and cheney are going to suffer in HELL

  7. Satan is the author of confusion. This is Satans US military, killing innocent people. See “Warning you will be put in prison for standing up for justice”. We kill unarmed men, women and children. Real video!! Number of WMDs found? 0….whos fooling who? The TV news is lying to you! Obamabaseddeciever, it was said as a strategic move to keep Satan from attacking them. Satan wasnt afraid!

  8. wesly22dh says:

it is true what ur saying by the rules of war dictated trough the years, dick cheney is a smart guy, is in the game for years and years. mercenaries for the fight, fine, but the problem is, they would do anything only if explicit told, im talking about the water, about jobs that would cost them, creating jobs out of the blue, THAT kind of stuff is wrong, NOT the fact u hire ppl for your dirty work, IF they have the pro skillset, which they dont.

  9. Alfonso99n says:

Iraq War is offensive for Iraqis. For American parents, it is a war of confusion. I am sure that Iraqis who got their children dead in those actions have no where to express them, they live now in a life of terror. Some of them have gone insane, others hopeless.

  10. starfox77ify says:

It is time for great childs to wake up.

  11. SrHTX420 says:

why do people hate on Mercenaries so much. I do not understand why people do? They serve a need that can not be full filled by our military because of politicians and the Geneva conventions rulings and judgements on war. If you hate the real face of war which is hell then turn off your tvs and do not watch. All humans are the same we all are amazed by awesome displays of power. accept your animal instincts or dont either way shut up if you have no spine and will never fight for something great.

  12. foxfly23 says:

BALONEY. These are FORMER U.S. military and folks who are former servicemen from other countries. I know this for a FACT because I have several family members and friends over there.

  13. inbredagogo says:

Naturally there were a lot of private contractors in Iraq. The average serviceman/woman doesn’t have the skillset to perform some of those technical jobs.

  14. palinsux1 says:

Its true if Romney was elected he was going to start another war because some of the companies who contributed to his campaign were weapons manufactures. He said he was going to spend 2 trillion more on the armed forces if elected. Sounds like he was planning to go to war to me a typical Republican.

  15. Jr Fibonacci says:

“Why would they send civilian contractors out there in to danger?” Duh- how about to get the people killed and make a media frenzy out of it. Why do governments send armies in to danger? To die- but to kill some of the enemy too, right? Big bucks for the military industrial complex!

  16. Jr Fibonacci says:

wow- it is bizarre to me that when people are involved in a imperialist, colonial occupation (called a “reconstruction” after shock and awe bombing of civilians and such), their families would be so naive to say things like “it seems like those people do not value human life!” I guess it is not all that surprising, really, but it is bizarre and notable and ironic. If some Iraqi who lost 150 members of their extended family was watching this, I wonder if they would be surprised at the naivete.

  17. A 12 years old girl was raped in august 26 2007 in Colombia (plan Colombia) by Michael J Cohen american army sergeant and Cesar Ruiz a Dyncorp employee. They got away because they had diplomatic immunity. Same in Serbia look US: Dyncorp disgrace .Those criminals are being paid with your money. You the people wake up.

  19. The1234craig says:

What a coincidence, many of the contracts went to Dick Cheney’s companies. I wonder how much Cheney and his wife made off of the Iraq War. Of course we went to war because of his continued lies. What an evil human being.
