The film set in 2015 is follows the investigation into the two girls’ deaths by an drug agent who worked closely with an ex-drugs policeman. The film shows the differing cases that emerged. Experts such as former chief constable Francis Wilkinson argued the case for pro-legalization, while David Raynes of the National Drug Prevention Alliance was one of the voices arguing against.

Based on rigorous research and interviews with experts, the documentary delves on arguments that suggest drugs like cocaine and heroin must be made legal, and examines how a legal and regulated system of drugs would work.

The film shows that the government has decided to legalize drugs. UK, along with European countries, Canada and Australia, has opted out of the UN treaties which control drugs. The film shows that the trade from possession to use and production to supply of drugs has been legalized.

The drama opens with the deaths of two girls in a club which is licensed to sell drugs. In the scenario, most drugs are readily available, with government health warnings and lists of ingredients, from various outlets. Drugs of addiction, like heroin, are free but only available on prescription from Swiss-styled heroin clinics. Cocaine is still illegal. The whole trade is regulated by a new agency, called Ofdrug.

The film raises the question if drug legalization could really reduce crime overall, and if it could make drug use any safer.

Whose fooling who everybody is on drugs. DRUG-is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function. Some drugs increase awareness some productivity. Some decrease all the above. Most legal drugs are more dangerous than illegal ones. But in the end I feel it is most responsible to respect yourself others and nature.

  4. i guess by 2015 the liberty in research for the mdma would come up with a better quality and less to none toxicity! lets be honest, you would go to a M.D. to make an allergy or chemical interaction with your body to see if its fits you or not. no problem with that, its not a sin to look for inmediate happiness feelings after a hard week, lets help to find the magic SOMA from aldoux huxley brave new world!

Well within 5 minutes of this documentary we have someone collapsing from drug OD. Right so this program is totally biased look at drugs. If you legalized all drugs without any information/ education given to people then that might be a problem, but that isn’t how it would play out in any real world scenario. Alcohol and education about alcohol can save people from its negative effects and let you know if there’s going to be a problem, you’ll always have drunks because that’s human nature.

  7. SethHesio says:

Education about drugs and understanding them is the most important thing, along with the decriminalization which would destroy the black market. Alcohol, paracetamol, valium, codeine, bleach, nail polish remover… these are all things that if you misuse them can kill you. But they are out of reach, children are kept far away from them. Legalizing drugs would be a shift in social responsibility for everyone, but not by as much as fear mongers will have you believe. It’s time for sense to reign.

Marijuana is less addictive then caffeine. Just saying. I hate when people say “but what I they get high and try to drive?” We have people getting drunk and driving don’t we? Just because a drug is legal doesn’t mean you can’t put regulations like “no blazing and driving”. Perfectly fine, and anyway, who feels like driving when they’re stoned?

  10. Apparently this is what drug legalization would look like: indiscriminate sale in nightclubs and on the internet instead of government-run dispensaries. Why can’t we just legalize cannabis with appropriate regulations?

  14. xxxDave24xxx says:

I think we should legalize most drugs. Except maybe heroin, which I like. That way all the dumb fuckheads who are stupid enough to die from overdose won’t have a chance to reproduce. If people want to use… that is their choice and should know the consequences they will suffer in the long term. Yeah it would be chaos for a while but eventually people would moderate.
