To all you believers in evolution, I think it is best we shut up. After all, religion is normally right….because if it is not then it starts wars in the very name of its god(s). I mean when was the last time you heard of Stephen Hawkins and Saul Perlmutter gathering their followers and going to war because of a disagreement?

I know this was originally posted by AtheistsAreSkeptics, but I don’t see how study into this area has anything to do with belief in a God. Personally, I’m an agnostic, but using evolution to disprove the existence of a consciousness outside of our own is really no more productive than using religious relics to prove that there is one. Evolution is one clarification of religious metaphor, but religious metaphor has always been a shortcut to science. They’re the same thing by different names.

Yes,I actually took the time to read your internet articles. They prove nothing but the fact that the writer & reader that believes them don’t understand evolution. Now the truth comes out, studied theology and probably philosophy, but no hard science classes. And your here bashing science when your studies are in fairy tales, I’ll believe the scientists. Hell you don’t even understand scientific theory, probably don’t know about the scientific method either.
My doctorate is academic in the theology field. But… that’s not really a point of any kind. I have been around academics of all types. We are all just people. Truth doesn’t get made up by people because of education. It is discovered. That’s why I love science. My observations as a human being thinking simply lead me to believe our quest to prove evolution is a lost cause. I do not see the evidence. What I do see is a bunch of people trying to continually reinforce the theory.
Surely a doctorate in theology must be aware that even the theologians at the Vatican have accepted Evolution as fact?
really? what kind of doctor you are? homeopathic? psychic? Must be one of them. If not you must have learnt to make some sense. How can you question evolution just because you found some thing wrong in one of the youtube videos? If evolution is not true, do you have any other theory, which can explain life on earth, that I can test and verify?
This is classic. Find a small part of the back of a skull… and you’ve got not only the whole animal to look at but a transitional species and it all connects with land whales. What a crock of creative imagination. As a doctor myself in a different field, I can assure all who listen to us, “experts” that it’s 90% fanciful garbage… to make a name for a researcher most the time. That’s why I have come to believe there is no real evidence for evolutionary theory as taught today.
WHAT IS SCIENCE? Science simply is knowledge based on observation. No one observed the universe coming by chance or by design, by creation or by evolution. These are positions of faith. The issue is which faith the scientific evidence best supports. Natural laws can explain how an airplane or living cell works, but it’s irrational to believe that an airplane or cell originated by undirected natural laws. NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within “kinds” is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across “kinds” (i.e. from sea sponge to human). How did species survive if their vital tissues, organs, reproductive systems were still evolving? Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! MUTATIONS: Random genetic mutations, caused by radiation, are destructive. Even if mutations are not immediately harmful, after enough of them accumulate they will be harmful. And, even if a good mutation does occur, for every good mutation there will be hundreds of harmful ones with the net effect, over time, being harmful to the species as a whole and even causing extinction, not upward evolution. Most variations are from new combinations of already existing genes, not mutations.

GENETIC AND BIOLOGICAL SIMILARITIES are better explained due to a common Designer Who designed similar functions for similar purposes in the various forms of life. Genetic information, like other forms of information cannot happen by chance, so this is the best explanation.
“JUNK DNA” ISN’T JUNK: We were simply ignorant of their usefulness. Recent research published in journals such as Nature shows that these “non-coding” segments of DNA are vital in regulating gene expression (when, where, and how genes are expressed). There’s no room for random mutations to operate safely. Just because these segments of DNA don’t code for proteins doesn’t mean that they useless or broken-down genes. NATURAL SELECTION IS NO BLIND WATCHMAKER: It can only “select,” not produce traits. If a variation survives, that survival is called being “selected.” Natural selection only operates once there is life and reproduction, not before, so it couldn’t have been involved in life’s origins. A partially-evolved cell (an oxymoron) would quickly disintegrate. It couldn’t wait (“survive”) millions of years for chance to complete it and then make it alive! I don’t think that microformats and OpenID are bad ideas, I just think that the next veorsin of the web will take everyone by surprise in a few years. Something will excite the people using the web and it’ll cause an explosion of innovation, like with Web 2.0. Trying to define it now seems purely artificial.
