It is always a mystery, if we think more about those days which are behind us, much behind us like from its birth out of cosmic rubble to the unique complex of land, sea, atmosphere and life. It is quite interesting to think about having a camera around since the creation of Earth to record every major event.

All of us are very curious to know about the history of our planet which goes through a half billion years ago through ice-ages, massive volcanic eruptions and the dinosaurs reign to the first humans, How water is transported to the surface and much much more. Through CGI re-creations, meet the inhabitants of Earth over the ages, from slimy mats of algae to the great dinosaurs and  the ancestors of mammals and humans.

Earth: Making of a Planet unfolds the secrets since the creation of our Planet and uncovers the story in one seamless camera move.

I am nothing ? I made you go home and beat your wife didn’t I ? I pissed you off so bad you responded !!! I am sorry your little artificial world can be torn apart with a few words from a person who don’t care.. Feather in my cap of chaos.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Cwisiee says:

You are nothing, you can do nothing, and you will be lost into nothingness, megalomaniac lunatics have roamed the earth before you, and they will keep roaming the earth after you, fortunately society, and nature too, have mechanisms to prevent you and your kind from realising your pathological egomaniac hallucinations, I recommend you see a psychologist asap because I see great conflict in your psychosynthesis. I wish you the very best of luck with your therapy.

  3. koodahquake says:

I am a closet moron.. Plus antihuman !!! I just found out how horrible the race really is.. and the religious ones are the worst..My contribution to the planet and helping it get rid of these parasites, is to create as much chaos as possible.. The more I read about human history the more I want to Help..

  4. sbergman27 says:

“I wish I had thought of it first” A glance @ your channel page suggests you’re above that kind of thing. Had you wanted an “in yer face” name you’d have chosen one. & likely your interests would be fixated on “being atheist” rather than upon history & science.I challenge irrationality (which includes religion) wherever I see it. It’s extremely important to set a good example & to let young people know that religion is no longer the ‘cool’ choice. But I don’t let atheism define me, as some do.

  5. Watta959 says:

evrything sounds acurate exept for the part where they say meteroites brought water to earth. bkuz if that was the case why those same rocks dicriminated on earths neighbors. was the moon on vacation when oceans where coming in through rocks. not even a lake for the moon. send me an email i will tell you exactly how water got to earth. [email protected]

  6. automatedjoe says:

\o/ Ah, you people and your silly arguements for, or against, religion. When will you all learn that everyone believes (spiritual, scientific, or both) what they want to believe, reguardless of others’ opinions? I thought we were starting to figure that out but it looks like humanity has so very far to go.

  7. wesamalshaif says:

great response…and here I thought atheists were supposed to be intellectuals, free from the shackles of religious dogma…I posted that comment previously to humbly engage with people, and the best you can do is “get lost crackpot”…

  8. @Quagigitymire First of all Jesus didn’t go into the dirt he rose on the third day, if you admit that there is all this evil in the world then you are just admitting there is a God, look at it, if there is evil then there is good, if there is good and evil then there is a moral code, if there is a moral code then there is a moral code giver, God. Your statement admits there is a God. It takes more faith to be a atheist than to be a Christian. I hope you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord.

  9. avatarion says:

It’s a silly question. What is the purpose of a rock? You know as well as me it doesn’t have one. It’s made up of minerals and atoms. So are bacteria. In a suitable environment rocks eventually “evolve” into planets, and bacteria evolve into complex lifeforms. Just because some things are more complex than others doesn’t mean they have to have a purpose. You have a consciousness through your sensory system and brain. Go make your own purpose in this world.

  10. wesamalshaif says:

watching this, Im amazed anyone can still be an atheist…”its impossible to know WHEN or HOW they were made..” (referring to the micro organisms)…It’s only impossible if someone says it was by chance! How all of this supposedly happened without any Grand Intervention cannot be fathomed…the iron, the water, THE MOON, the shift from incredibly violent and volcanic to stable and lush, from NOTHING, to complete functional human beings..

  11. You don’t have to kiss the ass of a fictional being to spend your eternity with him all you gotta do is end up in some dirt like he did. We all die, we all end up as organic material that is then used to spring up new life. God has nothing to do with this or any type of creation. Your rib stealing, imbread forcing, hate mongering, death causing, torturious, do as I say or suffer cause i love you, cause of much unneeded deaths, god is nothing more then the biggest lie made by greedy men.

  12. NovaChew says:

Not only have scientists been able to clone animals and stuff like that, they have also been able to create small, single-celled organisms. I can’t remember if they’ve managed to make some multi-celled ones yet, but it’s only a matter of time. With all the calculations and discoveries, I find it amazing that people still choose to give God, something there is NO physial proof of, the credits. What u believe is none o my business, but why can’t u people accept that some things came naturally?

  13. The beginning of life according to Nat. Geo., “its impossible to know how or when but these chemicals come together to make life, but it did” hahaha but yet with all the technology we have to today we cannot create life out of chemicals. Hmmmm oh thats right God created the universe. Trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you will be saved from eternal torment and spend eternity with him

  14. sbergman27 says:

@Alexmanyo1 I’m 14 minutes into the video. So far, it’s a well written, well produced dramatization of what our growing body of data tells us about the development of our Earth from the formation of our solar system’s accretion disc through the late heavy bombardment 4.1 to 3.8 billion years ago. You’re correct to ask “How do we know?”. But you haven’t yet investigated the data & subsequent analyses of it. We don’t *know* all of it. & the vid’s time-flow is not “to scale”. But it’s pretty good.

  15. sbergman27 says:

@JesusSuckedGayPenis Why don’t you choose a more tasteful name for your user account? As an atheist of 31 years, I’m very much temped to distance myself from you. You can effectively challenge the widespread irrationality around you without appearing to be a fanatical nut, yourself.Your user name also reveals bigotry on your part.In fact, the evidence you present here strongly suggests that you really are a fanatical nut.

  16. sbergman27 says:

04:30 Oh, the Nibiru fans will love this shot. Even before Nibiru gets here from the Kuiper Belt, the Andromeda Galaxy, or Zeta Reticuli (I forget where it’s supposed to show up from in December) the entire Earth will already have become a volcanic cauldron of lava due to its gravitational effects. And here’s photographic evidence on YouTube to prove it.

  17. @DaFleegsta How can you compare that with the holocast? Wtf.. are you sick? Or with a chair? It has nothing to do with that. The evidence suggests yes, but they will never ever know for sure if they are right simply because we can’t look back in time (and nobody lived back then). Last post though, don’t bother replying, won’t read it.

  18. DaFleegsta says:

@EvelienSandra You might as well say the same thing about the holocost.. Or whether or not chairs exist when you’re not looking at them. You can say that about anything in the past. Think of facts has not 100% absolute knowns, but rather highly probable educated assumptions based on evidence.Scientists know the earth is 4.5 billion years because thats what the evidence suggests. It’s conclusive. There’s a chance they’re wrong, nothings absolute, but it’s unlikely based on proof.

  19. @doanmanhtuan Because you were there when the earth was made and you know it’s actually 4.5 billion years old. It could be 100000 billion years old and we wouldn’t know it. Theres no way we will ever know the real years for sure.

  20. The real purpose of the scientific method is to make sure Nature hasn’t misled you into thinking you know something you don’t actually know.Science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge. This system uses observation and experimentation to describe and explain natural phenomena. The term science also refers to the organized body of knowledge people have gained using that system. The word science comes from the Latin “scientia,” meaning knowledge.Once again, science is NOT a religion!!
