Dying To Have Known
‘Dying To Have Known’ is a documentary made by filmmaker Steve Kroschel, whose quest to find out about the efficacy and veracity of the Gerson Therapy, known to cure degenerative diseases by natural methods, takes him on a 52 day journey across both the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans, from upstate New York to San Diego to Alaska, from Japan and Holland to Spain and Mexico.
The documentary includes the testimonies of patients, scientists, surgeons and nutritionists supporting the claims of the therapy’s efficacy in curing cancer and other degenerative diseases.
It includes interviews with survivors of degenerative diseases such as a Japanese medical school professor who cured himself of liver cancer over 15 years ago, a lymphoma patient who was diagnosed as terminal over 50 years ago as well as noted critics of this world-renowned healing method who dismiss it out of hand as pure quackery.
The film leaves the audience to question the reason behind suppressing this natural cure.

I AM a scientist as long as what I do is based on the scientific method. I also have several research papers published on cancer. The thing with science is that one must keep an open mind, but remain rigorous about the data. After watching this video I became vegetarian and changed many things in my diet and lifestyle. There is a question that arises with this therapy, and that is there aren’t control groups. Believing in it doesn’t make it valid. Science is based on evidence. Where is the data?
ehm… physicians aren’t usually scientists.. what kind of research did you conduct in order to claim the “scientists” title? As a physician you should also know that diverse and healthy diet is important for health but no carrot juice will cure cancer. The thing about science is that it will never be right, everything that we know is only valid as long as it hasn’t been proved invalid. That is the basis of science and the only way conduct research, you question everything that is out there.
It’s all over the internet! Type cancer causes in google and start reading! I don’t know which sources you will believe so try as many as possible. I advise good lecture of new treatment methods which are not radiation, chemotherapy related. And Just to answer you question shortly: mutations are caused by carcinogens like tobacco, asbestos, arsenic, radiation such as gamma and x-rays, the sun, and compounds in car exhaust fumes as well as some viruses.
I think it’s up to you if you want do pay that money for a medication that has a proven track record of healing cancer or spend it on diets that are questionable in result. NO WHERE in this documentary is stated what percentage has been healed and what kind of cancer they had as all I heard was benign cancer which is a general term for non-spreading form which usually doesn’t cause death. Facts matter!

Cronic high blood pressure, headaches, sinus problems, fast heart rate, inability to smell things, not sleeping correctly, bloating and gases, pains in my abdomin, tiredness, irritability, thirst that was hard to quench, swollen saliva glands, and rosacia all gone! thanks to only one month on the gerson therapy. I thank god I found a person who knew about the Gerson Therapy. I will never eat the way I was before and will tell anyone who will listen to advise them of the importance of raw food
Clinical trials are unbiased, always accurate, show true percentages of people cured with chemotherapy after X, Y, and Z number of years, and the results of chemotherapy are excellent.And don’t forget, we will all see the Easter Bunny this April 8, 2012, and I remember how I saw the Tooth Fairy fly out of my room when I was a kid after leaving a couple of bucks under my pillow. She looked a little like Darryl Hannah.
You have to realize that I am stupid, so I would rather go to the oncology department of a hospital and get chemotherapy, have my hair fall out and be sick for days on end, all the while paying tens of thousands of dollars and thanking the doctors for their work trying to cure my cancer, even though my cancer will most likely not be cured. I am stupid, so I don’t trust anything that is free.I’m stupid, so I trust “clinical trials” because they are very accurate. Suuuuuuuure they are!!
I add my Thank you for this documentary and for providing it to everyone freely. Those who are open minded and enlightened to prefer to seek light and truth in their lives will recognize this immediately for the pure gift that it is. I do believe that those who prefer dark or negative ideas and thoughts will not be curable no matter how simple or great the treatment, but those who love hope and living in the light will be drawn to and appreciate it. @SmeeLord – well, look who is REALLY the ignorant one. You poor SUCKER!!! LOL It will be interesting when you get cancer and go to your favorite doctor and get your chemo and you see your hair fall out, you vomiting all over the place, and your cancer STILL WON’T BE CURED!! LOL But you know what? The medical establishment LOVES YOU FOR IT!! Do you know why? Because you will be helping them thin the herd (you will be dead) and they will make money from it!!
The book: “The pH Miracle” of Dr. Robert O. Young PhD should be read by everyone because he explains how important it is to eat alkaline food and water and also to avoid acidic food.Also worth mentionning is Dr. Leonard Coldwell who wrote the book: “The Only Answer to Cancer”.
@reggieboycan Also,when they claim someone is a “survivor” of chemo/radiation it means they lived for 5 years after recieving it.What could possibly be hazardous about eating live food?and juices?What could possibly be hazardous about organic veggies?
@reggieboycan If you have cancer I would stongly suggest watching Food Matters.Cut,Poison,Burn and Burzynski The Movie.In Food Matters(I recommend this 1st)it talks about HOW clinical trials are bogus.They don`t have to say anything about all of their failed trials.Only 2 that are in a drug companies favor.Then FDA will give them a license.Do they tell you about all of the hazards of chemo and radiation?If you want to give someone cancer give them either of these treatments.

We’ve shared the cancer tragedy having family members and friends, who, having been diagnosed with cancer, were treated with chemotherapy and/or radiation. All of these had faith, and each had many praying daily for their healing. All had their quality of life destroyed by their treatment. Sadly, each one died within months of their deadly treatment programs. I and others have come to this shocking conclusion; Chemo Kills. Radiation Kills. Both are very strong carcinogens.
People who say this doesn’t work have either:1) been completely brainwashed by the med. industry that makes billions on suckers, or2) they work for the med. industry (espec. cancer & diabetes) and don’t want to see their jobs go awayNo question that this works-I’ve seen people cured with this therapy, & I’ve also seen people die from chemotherapy. It’s like someone (med. establishment) telling people to shoot their foot off, and they believe them since it’s the med. establishment saying so.
This is a most excellent video. Better than anything I have seen this week. Dr. Gerson was denied the freedom of speech and freedom of press here in America. As an american I am ashamed that my country has done this to the brightest doctor of the century. I lost my mother to cancer in 2005. She was diagnosed in Sept and died in Jan. She could be alive today if we truly had the freedoms we claim to have…. but do not because corporate America controls food and drugs…..
I wish people would open their eyes and stop making excuses. The government is not your friend, they don thave your best interest at heart. There is no money in health people!!!!! This has cured people, those who werent closed minded and went for it. I feel sorry for those who think this cant work. May you rest in piece.
Testimonials are anecdotal evidence at best, the very thing science has taught us we cannot rely on. Provide a proper clinical trial (it’s really not that hard) for the claims made by the Gerson Institute. The therapy has been around since 1928, it’s way past due!
