brit milah “metzitzah” was simply done to prevent infection as there was no better antiseptic back then and this ritual is still held in accordance with scripture don’t try to create something sick wherever you see fit.

There is a difference between female “circumcision” and Male circumcision. One is snipping off some skin. Personally, I don’t think it’s right to circumcise a child who isn’t old enough to decide for themself if they want the procedure, but the two are not comparable. If you removed the guy’s balls, then it might be comparable. Female “circumcision” or more appropriately, female genital mutilation is cutting out a woman’s clitoris so she can’t feel sexual pleasure. It’s not the same.
@captwasabi If UTI prevention was the real reason or a sufficient reason to cut childrens genitals, we would be cutting baby girls before cutting baby boys as from 0-18 girls get 4 to 10 times more UTIs than uncircumcised boys.
@airpickone The AMA, AAP, CPS, RACP & BMA which are some of the most pretigious medical associatins in the world all state that routine circumcision is NOT medically indicated and that the potential benefit of circumcision do not outweigh the potential risks and complications.
According to the UN/WHO there are 4 types of female circumcision/FGM with one or more sub types. FGM 1a is the removal of the female prepuce/clitoral hood. The female prepuce and the male prepuce/foreskin are homologus structures. As such circumcision is the same as FGM 1a plus features of other types of FGM as the foreskin is torn from the glans before it is cut off.
From the ‘International Journal of Men’s Health’ : “The circumcised men…..had higher prevalence of two of the three alex-ithymia factors (difficulty identifying feelings and difficulty describing feelings); and were 4.53 times more likely to use an erectile dysfunction drug. Alexithymia in this population of adult men is statistically significant for having experienced circumcision trauma and for erectile dysfunction drug use.”.
According to the ‘International Journal of Men’s Health’ a study was conducted using the Toronto Twenty-Item Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) checklist. Although it was a preliminary study using 435 self selected men, the study revealed the following disturbing results. (see next post)

Nobody has the power to decide for others;everyone has its own choice.Why cutting out something so beautiful? The foreskin is something that completes man penis.No guy must have his foreskin cut off.Being intact or not should be a choice.
All babies are born with a condition called physiological phimosis, which is natural and completely normal. The foreskin and the glans will separate with time and the child may get injured if the doctor or the parents try to lower the foreskin down. The complete separation of the glans and the foreskin will be done in puberty.No need to cut off healthy erogenous tissue, no need to mutilate babies and vulnerating not only their bodies, but also their fundamental and human rights.

Phimosis is just an excuse for Circumcision since the skin has to be torn from the glans before the foreskin is cut so they might as well just separate it from the glans and pull it back instead of cutting the whole foreskin off.
